April Club

For our April Cooking Club, we met at my house and I shared one of my favorite recipes, "fake-baked ziti." This recipe taught me how to make red sauce from scratch, and white sauce from scratch, then combine them both with pasta for a saucy, cheesy, creamy, delicious meal!

Here are the anxious tasters!
The red sauce is mixed in with the pasta, the white sauce is poured over and NOT mixed in. Then it is topped with mozzarella (preferably FRESH), parm, and asiago. Then it is popped under the broiler until melted and browned.

YUM!

I also shared how to dress a salad with vinegar (put on first) and oil. Don't forget the salt and pepper! Thanks for rinsing Michelle!
