Asian Food with Ami - Chicken Cutlet

Cutlets
Chicken breast strips, thin sliced pork, etc (Ami used chicken tenderloins)
salt and pepper for seasoning
about 3/4 cup flour, more if you need it
about 2 eggs for egg wash

about 1 cup panko (Japanese bread crumbs), more if you need it

Heat 1/2 to 1 inch deep oil in pan. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken pieces in flour, then into egg wash, and finally into panko to coat. Place chicken in hot oil and fry until golden color. If in doubt about meats being thoroughly cooked, take one piece out and slice in the middle to check. Drain chicken pieces on paper towels.

Slice cutlets and serve with Tonkatsu sauce
(Kikkoman brand- can be found in any grocery store)
