Heather's Biscuit Doughnuts
1 can Pillsbury biscuits; Heather has used buttermilk or butter- it doesn't matter which flavor you use. She uses Pillsbury because they are bigger and you can pull one biscuit apart to make two doughnuts (the cheaper brands don't pull apart well).
Take biscuits out of the can and lay them flat on a cutting board. Cut a hole in the center of each- Heather uses a children's medicine cup for this.

While you are cutting the doughnuts, place a frying pan on your stove with about two inches of oil on medium heat. When the oil has reached 350 degrees, fry the doughnuts until golden, then flip with tongs to cook the other side. You can fry the doughnut holes as well.
Line a cookie sheet with foil, then place a cooling rack over the top to cool the doughnuts. You can frost or glaze the doughnuts once they are cooled off.
Glaze
1 cup of confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoon's milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
In a small bowl, whisk all ingredients together and set aside until doughnuts are cool. Then dunk each side of the doughnuts in the glaze.
